Things have been slower than ever lately... It feels like summer already with the lack of big news... But none-the-less. I digress.
Dateline: December 5, 2007... The last time Gino Pisellini has been in the Nailer line-up.
Before losing Pisellini to the IR, the Nailers were basically a .500 team going 8-8-2.
While Pisellini was out-of-action, Wheeling was a measley 6-17-3. It's not far fetched to say that they lacked a certian punch that Pisellini brought to the team. Some much needed energy and grit.
Dateline: February 6, 2008... Over two months later will Pisellini be a cure for what ales the Nailers? It definitely couldn't hurt. At the very least, maybe we'll actually have a fight to look forward to at home games.

Geno coming back is definitely good, but a brighter spot lately is the play of rookie Matt Byrnes. Two goals and an assist in 3 games is a pleasant suprise. Time will tell if he has staying power or is still playing on adrenaline.
