Shorthanded weekend.

Just when I said that it's been slow news-wise, it figures something would go down and the Nailers will be short a couple of players for this weekends games.

The Nailers' will be without the services of Gino Pisellini, Aaron Boogaard and Kelly Miller for the next couple games relating to their involvement in Wednesday nights game against Cincinnati.

Pisellini's suspension is the longest of the three as he has been suspended seven games and fined an undisclosed for leaving the players’ bench and fighting other than during the periods of the game.

Boogaard has been suspended three games and fined an undisclosed amount for fighting other than during the periods of the game.

Miller has been suspended two games and fined an undisclosed amount for instigating and fighting other than during the periods of the game.

Coach was given a game misconduct as well.

Glad to see they got some life in them. Just wish that they would do that kind of stuff at home games. Oh well, there's always next season.

I wish that they would play like they fight.
Once again at playoff time the fans are the biggest April fools of all.

Kyle Rank has been called-up and we signed John Burton who was with us in training camp.

Wow...I just got back from watching Youngstown Phantoms Junior "A" team beat Traverse City (Mich.)Stars 7-2 in a real hockey game. I even saw my first live goalie fight...we beat them there too!!! Then I check ECHL scores and come back to Earth to the tune of 9 goals and 49 shots. We suck. I don't think Moondog can help at this point.

I say we strap some skates on Moondog and see if he can clear the crease.

It's amazing, the Nailers D not only allows the opponent to freely roam the crease, on offense they won't get a guy within 10 feet of it.

That whole Moondog playing idea is the best idea I've heard in a long time. He'd tear people up fo sho...

Shuy should have his ref license revoked because he's not qualified to take a dump by himself.
